In lockdown i have been working hard on a poem.
This poem is a haiku poem and its about the virus that's been spreading round.

We were doing filling in numbers in sequences. I hope that makes sense.
What i did to work these out is I put number rods where it was missing and found out what the missing numbers were. This was a very fun math session and i hope you enjoy my work! 😎😎😎

Nelson Mandela

The book i was reading was about Nelson Mandela.. The story was Nelson Mandela was a hero because people were really racist and he wanted black people to have the same rights as white people. He fought and had a lot of prison time for it.

Reading week 9

Hey bloggers,
In this blog post im going to show you my week 9 reading.
Walt: locate and summarize important information from a range of related texts.
This story is about a little girl named Anne Frank. She experienced the World war 2. She was on the Jews side and she got attacked by Adolf Hitler and the Germans. She wrote a diary of what happened to her and her family. She died and only her dad survived but her diary helped many. She will not be forgotten. Rest in peace.

How does your complementary text support the main text?

George moved from Germany and he was a police officer and became a farmer. He was an ANZAC soldier at Gallipoli. He was in a war he was headed for France and the Western Front. George fought at Messines, where he was shot. He died a few days later, on 10 June 1917. This is similar because he died in war to. Rest in peace.
