my fishy writing

this is my writing for the month I guess. I hope you enjoy it! 27/10/20 fishy boat I wake up to another earthquake and see my dad starting the boat. you might be wondering what is that fish doing there? Well my parents built it so we could live on the beautiful lakes of new zealand. Living on water was not my idea of a great house but my mum said it would be fun so this is my life now. I don't like the idea of eating healthy as well. My mum has been growing carrots for a few years and that's all we can eat at the moment. My dad started yelling BLAKE BLAKE because he needs my help and by the way my name is Blake. Today dad said we are going fishing so we can have some fish for dinner. I don't really like fish but it's better than nothing I guess. I am a really fussy 10 year old that only eats carrots and meat. I don't like some meat things like seafood but I like almost every other meat product in the world. I got 2 fishing pole’s and the bait then gave the bait and one fishing pole to dad. We started fishing and we caught a fish and had a 30 second rest. but there were no fish so dad was going to move the boat so I held on to something. I waited for the boat to move but it wasn't moving, it was only shaking from side to side. I yelled out to dad and he came up and said he had some bad news and some more bad news. The first bit of bad news was that the engine in the fish broke, the second bit of bad news was since the engine was broken we were stuck in the middle of the lake. Dad went to tell mum but she was at the beach collecting some carrots from her carrot farm. Dad started yelling out to people walking past but no one could hear him. I got really bored of dad yelling at people so I went into my room, shut the door and read a book. Mum finally got back and saw dad in the middle of the lake shouting at people so she said at the top of her voice that she would bring a boat. Mum went to go get a boat. It took a long time for the boat to arrive but it came with a mechanic in it. He got out the tools and went inside the fish. He came out and he said that he fixed the fish engine. He smelt so bad when he came over to stink down there. Dad hasn't been down there in months and it must have been moldy or something. The mechanic started the engine and it was working again. So i hopped down do the shaw and gave mum a great big hug.
